UK MAINLAND

STANDARD DELIVERY

Standard Delivery costs £3.95. 

Your parcel will usually be dispatched the following working day. Expected delivery is 3-7 working days from dispatch. However, please be aware that Royal Mail does not guarantee this.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays). Standard Deliveries are made Monday to Saturday.

This is an untracked service. A signature may be required.

Express Delivery costs £7.95.

Your parcel will usually be dispatched the following working day. Expected delivery is 1-2 working days from dispatch. 

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays). Express Deliveries are made Monday to Friday.

This is a tracked service and a signature will be required. Please provide your email address and phone number when prompted so we can let you know your tracking details.

 

NORTHERN IRELAND, SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS & ISLANDS, OTHER OUTLYING ISLANDS (SCILLY, WIGHT ETC)

Standard Delivery will cost £3.95 wherever possible. However, if your parcel is too large or heavy for Royal Mail, we may contact you before your order is dispatched to discuss alternative carrier options and charges with you. If you decide you do not wish to pay additional charges you may cancel your order for a full refund.

Your parcel will usually be dispatched the following working day. Expected delivery is 5-10 working days from dispatch, however, please be aware that Royal Mail does not guarantee this.

We reserve the right to refuse delivery of particularly large or fragile items. On any such occasion you will be notified and issued a full refund.

Express Delivery is not available for the above destinations.

 

CHANNEL ISLANDS AND ISLE OF MAN

Please select the relevant option from the country dropdown menu. Delivery costs £24.95.

Your parcel will usually be dispatched the following working day. Expected delivery is 2-5 working days from dispatch.

We reserve the right to refuse delivery of particularly large or fragile items. On any such occasion you will be notified and issued a full refund.

 

EUROPE

We deliver to the European countries listed in the table above. Select your country at checkout and the relevant delivery rate will be applied. Delivery is available for mainland Europe only and does not apply to any offshore islands or territories (e.g. Madiera, Balearic Islands, Sardinia). Couriers may also refuse delivery to particular remote locations, please contact us prior to your order if you are concerned this may apply to your delivery address.

The delivery and returns policy for European countries matches that for UK orders. We reserve the right to refuse delivery of particularly large or fragile items. On any such occasion you will be notified and issued a full refund.

Customs charges and taxes are not usually payable on orders sent within the European Union, but may be levied against goods delivered to non-EU countries. Decorator's Notebook does not accept liability for any local customs charges, handling fees, duty or taxes, or for any delays that may occur if a parcel is stopped.

 

USA

CONDITIONS AND EXCLUSIONS FROM OUR DELIVERY POLICY

 

Please make sure someone will be at the delivery address to receive your parcel. Please do not leave instructions for parcels to be left in an alternative location (shed, garage, neighbour etc) as we do not accept liability if you do this and fail to receive your parcel.

We cannot deliver to BFPO addresses or PO boxes.

During periods of poor weather, industrial action or exceptional demand the above delivery timescales may not apply. We will do everything we can to get your parcel to you as soon as possible, but we do not offer refunds for delays that are beyond the control of Decorator's Notebook.

Expected delivery for Royal Mail (Standard Delivery) is 3-7 working days, however, Royal Mail states that on rare occasions delivery may take up to 14 working days. Unfortunately we are unable to pursue claims for lost or delayed deliveries until this time has elapsed.

During the order process you will be asked to confirm your delivery address. We cannot be held responsible or cover any associated losses or costs if the order does not arrive due to an incorrect or incomplete address being provided. 

Couriers will make every effort to successfully deliver your parcel but, if they cannot obtain a signature or your parcel is not collected from the depot within a certain period, it may be returned to sender. Redelivery charges will apply.

 

CHANGING OR CANCELLING AN ORDER

 
Decorator's Notebook works with an expert delivery warehouse and our team start getting your parcel ready for dispatch as soon as your order is received by our website. By doing this we can get your items to you quickly and efficiently, but it also means we usually can't change or cancel an order once it has been placed.

 
If you need to amend your order please contact us immediately and we will help if we can. However, if your order has already been processed changes cannot be made. If you wish to order further items you will need to place a new order and pay the relevant delivery charge. For unwanted items you will need to wait for the item to be delivered then follow our returns procedure below.

 


RETURNS AND REFUNDS


 
We want you to be happy with everything you buy from Decorator's Notebook. If you're not, please email hello@decoratorsnotebook.co.uk with the subject line "Return" within 14 days of receipt. Remember to tell us your name, order number and explain which item(s) you want to return. Please be sure to email us before you post the item back so that we can ensure your return is processed smoothly.

We make every effort to package your items safely, but in the unlikely event that an item is faulty or broken in transit, we reserve the right to issue a refund (rather than a replacement). Photographic evidence of breakages will be required showing the item and all the packaging it arrived in. 

We'll email back guiding you through the returns process. Once the goods have been received by us we will arrange a refund or exchange as appropriate. Refunds will be made to the credit or debit card or Paypal account of the person who originally placed and paid for the order within 14 days of us receiving the returned item.

Sorry, but we do not refund your return postage unless an item is faulty. Please make sure you obtain proof of postage and adequate postal insurance to cover items being returned to us as we cannot give you a refund if we don't receive the goods back safely.
 
Unwanted items (unless faulty) must be returned in re-saleable condition. This means that the items are undamaged and unused and returned in the original packaging with any labels attached. All items are checked once we receive them back before a refund is issued and we reserve the right to reject a refund if we consider a returned item to be unsaleable for any reason.
 
Handmade products and items made from natural materials will have individual variations in shape, colour and size and style. We don't accept these items as faulty and we will not cover the cost of return postage. Gift vouchers, personalised items and items made or cut to order cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged under any circumstances.

Items purchased as a gift can only be refunded to the card of the person who placed and paid for the order.
